Our people
Harmony originates from a joyful attitude
The people who make up Beelineweb.com embody this idea. We believe our success is tied to our positive spirit and the care we demonstrate to our clients and with each other.

Lauren Gaglardi - President
One of the founders of Beelineweb.com, she's so much more to us than just the queen bee. This lively-but-endearing trailblazer has been working in search marketing since last century — 1998 to be exact. Her wealth of SEO knowledge and indomitable drive to keep learning inspires the whole team and ensures that we get top results. As she works behind the scenes to make sure everything happens for our clients, she also demonstrates her authentic commitment to meaningful social and environmental change. Her vibrant compassion extends to everyone on our team as she aims to assemble a remarkable group that practices and benefits from integrity. With her kind, honest and dependable leadership, we're instilled with the mindfulness, motivation and resources to do well by doing good. We just wish we could fully reciprocate everything she provides with the same level of consideration — but we might have to settle for making her a dozen vegan cupcakes instead.

Ched Gaglardi - CEO
We love this guy; he really pays attention to "the Enterprise." But although he's a big fan of science fiction — and a visionary in his own right — he keeps his feet firmly on the ground. As one of the founders of Beelineweb.com, his cordial, down-to-earth approach to business helps set the tone for the office. His accomplished background in finance, marketing and other successful ventures ensures our ability to create and maintain tremendous value for our clients. And he stays involved in our community, volunteering his time and knowledge to promote local economic development. Along with his uncanny ability to see the big picture, his steady temperament inspires trust and confidence, no matter the circumstances. However, we're afraid he might someday want to turn our office into the set of Battlestar Galactica — that's where we draw the line.

Amy Gaglardi - Director of Business Development
To say she's outgoing would be the understatement of the decade. If you attend conferences to get help growing your business, chances are good you two have met. This charming go-getter loves to travel. But don't let her outward exuberance fool you. Behind that beaming smile is an educated marketing aficionado who genuinely cares about helping special companies improve their bottom lines. In fact, when it comes to search engine marketing, she's an ace — raised on the stuff early on and a part of our team from the beginning. Just watch out: she can be charmingly clumsy from time to time, and her laughter is infectious. Then again, that's why we love her.

Amanda Crawford - Production Assistant
She's one of the most fascinating people to grace our office. Her calm, hip exterior belies an abundance of fiery passions within. Yeah, we've witnessed her amazing attention to detail, willingness to help out anywhere, and stunning capacity to learn new stuff quickly. But where does it all come from? OK, so she's got an education in finance and tourism. That's a start. However, we're curious about her love of...hockey? And food. And photography. And food photography. Her foodie blog causes more than a few tummy grumbles. When she delights us with her divine baking, she can even make us care — temporarily! — about her beloved Edmonton Oilers.

Ashley Gaglardi - Marketing Assistant
She's a natural, but someone this elegant would be. Since her first day, she's made a big impact with her sincerity and grace. But the calming, soft-spoken presence that she exudes belies her stunning talents for attention to detail, quick learning, and the willingness and ability to take on anything we throw her way. Her intuitive comprehension and pursuit of excellence help us sustain our exceptional standards in many different ways. Did we mention that her shy exterior also hides a fascinating — odd and twisty — sense of humor? It's true. Just beware: as a longtime vegetarian, she's had plenty of practice at tossing sparkling wisecracks at anyone who dares poke fun at her.

Chris Gaglardi - Search Strategist
He's our office comedian — he's never far from the perfect wisecrack or playful prank. But the same mind that is responsible for catching us off guard with well-timed witticisms is also what makes him so astute at planning and monitoring online marketing strategies that produce abundant results for our clients. Like his siblings, he was brought up on search and has been with us from the beginning. He's a whiz at HTML and form building; he's a pay-per-click guru; and he's a master of web analytics and organic search strategies, continually seeking to expand upon his expertise. He's even our official photographer of office potlucks and work events. But if you see him around, you might want to hide your jellybeans.

Christine Neilson - Senior Production Assistant
When someone walks in with this much down-home cheer, we know to expect good things. Her joyful grin brightens our days, and her lighthearted generosity signals a willingness to lend a helping hand wherever it is needed. But she's more than a giggly peach of a person; she's a gem of a find. She learned her position quickly, moved up, and is now a resident expert, training others, proofing their work, and excelling at everything she touches. Plus, she enjoys a variety of gourmet loose leaf teas — practically a requirement for working here. Between the energy she displays at the office and her participation in active hobbies like soccer, volleyball, hiking, and running, we think she might sip down more of that tasty tea than she lets on. Or maybe her extra bounce just comes naturally—she is a redhead.

Doug Wilson - Manager of Software Development
He's our master of the impossible; our wizard of programming; or our miracle man of command logic. Something like that. Truth is, what he does in that upper-level fortress is a bit of a mystery to us. We just know that he makes everything work. Apparently, he's been crafting code since he was a sprightly 11-year-old. But based on the esoteric wisdom he imparts, along with his gift as a computer whisperer, we believe he must have started several lifetimes ago. He answers our most absurd coding questions and requests with the coolness of a techno-deity: "yeah...I think I can do that." In fact, he seems so all-knowing that we just hope we aren't really part of his own virtual matrix. Where's that blue pill?

Jennifer Johnston - Copywriter
All indications point to one conclusion: she leads a (poorly-kept) secret life as a superhero. She's just too modest to admit it. How else to explain the ease with which she's able to take on any task we throw her way? Or the courage and friendly attitude she always demonstrates — even in the face of adversity? There simply has to be more to her than a gifted passion for search marketing. How can anyone love to learn and take on new challenges that much? How can she be so good at making yummy sushi? She may never fess up. But at least we're pretty sure we know her weakness should we ever need to slow her down. The girl needs her coffee! So... maybe she's really just a regular person... Nah.

Jessie Christie - Senior Copywriter
She's our fleet-fingered "writing ninja." With her background in journalism and a double black belt in dashing off kick-butt copy that search engines and our site visitors love, she's a master persuader. She even shows off her astonishing dexterity as a contributor to our blog. Her stealthy behavior, however, can make her difficult to spot, so we're always on guard for the soft sounds of a whispering horse trot. You see, she's a nimble horse aficionado; when she's not writing, she's training for, competing in, or acting as a judge at equine events. In short, we are in awe of her quiet precision whenever we're lucky enough to catch a glimpse of her at work. In her quest to get results, this wily wordsmith takes no prisoners — though we do hope she pauses for a breather once in a while.

Laura Gaglardi - Project Manager
She always looks good, and she does know a thing or two about excellent coordination, but it's not her impeccable fashion sense that stands out most. Rather, as the cheerful person that manages all of our client updates, she displays the kind of boundless energy, unwavering composure, and finely-calibrated attention to detail that ensures things get done right. Maybe that's due to how she was raised. We like to say she's been weaned on search — nourished with the passion for search engine marketing since she was 10 years old. That's given her the poise and soaring enthusiasm to provide high-level quality assurance for our clients. She even keeps the energy flowing in our social media channels for Trade-Schools.net on Twitter and Facebook. Don't worry though; her exuberance may be impressive, but she's as warm and approachable as they come.

Luke Redd - Director of Creative Content
Watch out for the quiet ones. He's so hushed; we hardly ever know what he's thinking. His low-key, even-tempered appearance cloaks a wicked sense of humor that only reveals itself in his work. But we're frequently bowled over by the impressive results of whatever mental gymnastics his mind plays host to, such as his contributions to our blog, No More Frozen Students. While we initially hired him for his wonderful writing abilities, we were thrilled to find out that he's also an extraordinary graphic designer — he has wowed us. His diverse background allows him to step up to a variety of assignments. We've even been pleasantly surprised to discover — via our office potlucks — that he can cook delicious food!

Maizal Munif - Web Applications Developer
He's got the persistent smile of someone who loves what he does. Keeping company with our other resident programming wizard, we're sure he gets caught in the spell of hypnotic code creation. He's an enthusiastic explorer of programming possibilities and has stayed active in research and development since the early days of Turbo Pascal, Quick Basic, and 80386SX processors. (Yeah — we just smile and nod). Although he's called "The Wall of No" on volleyball courts due to his great blocking abilities, he's more like "The Door of Yes" when we ask him to do the impossible. We're just happy we get to benefit from his great attention to detail. Because even though he displays an ever-present demeanor of friendliness, we'd hate to oppose him on the soccer field (he plays year-round and is known for his skillful defense).

Deb Stanley - Personal Trainer (Honorary Team Member)
How does she do that (count to 20 while listening to us gab and demonstrating an impossible sit-up that features two different-sized balls)? Nothing gets past her—she "motivates" us to do ALL of our repetitions. Though not officially staff - she's got her own company New Attitude Personal Training - she's been a big part of the Beelineweb.com team for more than four years. It's a good thing she makes us laugh with her diverting sense of humor — though we suspect it's just a sneaky way to work our abs. Still, without her individually designed exercise programs and masterful encouragement, we might never discover just how much we can accomplish.
